America is a country of immigrants. Have no doubt, our borders should be secure and undocumented immigrants with criminal records or those engaging in illegal activity should be prosecuted and deported. But hard-working people who are paying US taxes, raising families, working hard, and contributing to our community should not be terrorized by indiscriminate and reckless raids.
Haphazard ICE raids have left families hurting: separated from loved ones, struggling to pay rent, and suddenly without income or support. That’s why Rick Caruso is taking action by giving $50,000 to provide direct support to families in need and matching an additional $50,000 of every dollar given through this website. In partnership with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, every donation goes directly to Angelenos who need economic assistance because of the raids.
